About Eletta
Eletta connects clients with independent beauty professionals in the United States. Professionals run their own business: they set their services, prices, hours and policies, and they provide the service. Eletta is not the provider of any beauty service and is not a party to the agreement between a client and a professional.
Your account
You must be 18 or older to use Eletta. Use your real name and keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Professionals appear to clients only after Eletta has reviewed their profile. Professionals are responsible for holding any license their state requires; a "Licensed" badge means we have checked the license number they gave us against the state record.
Bookings and cancellations
A booking is a request until the professional accepts it. Please arrive on time, or be home at the agreed time for home visits. Each professional sets a cancellation window, shown before you book: if you cancel inside it, or don’t show up, you may lose your deposit or be charged the no-show fee shown at booking. If the professional cancels or declines, any deposit is refunded in full.
Payments
Card payments, deposits, tips and fees are processed by Stripe, Inc. Eletta never sees or stores your full card number. When a professional takes deposits or no-show fees, your card is saved with Stripe so the balance or a no-show fee can be charged under the policy you agreed to when booking. Tips go to the professional. Prices are set by the professional, in US dollars; any applicable taxes are the professional’s responsibility unless stated otherwise. Professionals receive payouts through their own Stripe account and agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement.
Respect and safety
Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hateful or explicit content, fake bookings and attempts to deceive are not allowed. You can block anyone, and report anything that worries you; we review every report. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Photos, reels, reviews and messages
You keep ownership of what you post, and you allow Eletta to show it in the app. Only post photos and videos you have the right to share, with the consent of anyone shown. Reviews must be honest and about a real booking. Messages are private between you and the other person, except where we need to review a report.
Your information
We collect your name, email, phone number if you add it, ZIP code or location if you share it, your bookings, payments history, messages, photos and reviews, so the app can work. We use your location only to show professionals near you. Professionals see your name and booking details; your address is shared only once they accept a home visit. We don’t sell or share your personal information for advertising. You can see, correct or delete your information, including deleting your whole account, from the app at any time, and you can contact us with any privacy request.
Responsibility
Professionals are responsible for the services they provide, including licensing, hygiene, products used and any allergies they are told about. Tell your professional about allergies or conditions before your appointment. To the extent the law allows, Eletta isn’t liable for the outcome of a service or for disputes between clients and professionals, though we will help where we can.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; when we do, we’ll ask you to accept the new version in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Eletta is registered, without limiting any rights you have under the laws of your own state.
